                      The Oromo Coffee Table is part of Egg Designs’ iconic Oromo collection, known for its intense surface detailing and layered techniques. The tabletop is carved from solid walnut and finished with a tactile, sculptural pattern inspired by 1970s surface design. Over 100 hours of carving go into each piece. A hand-polished, sand-cast brass disc is inset into the top, its warm bronze tone complementing the timber grain. The base is a French oak cant treated with the Shou Sugi ban technique, adding dark texture. Joined by a bespoke brass button, this table is where cultural reverence meets contemporary craft.
