Slow Burn

Every material has a point where heat changes what it is. This collection begins there. Metals, poured and cast. Clay, fired into forms and tiles. Glass, cast and left to cool slowly. Timber, charred by hand. Fire turns each one into something it could not otherwise become, and it will not be rushed. These pieces were made the long way, and they reveal themselves over time. It is a slow burn.
